Safety Data Sheets - SDS
What Safety Data Sheets do we prepare?
- 01. Creation according to the REACH Regulation, in the latest valid version 830/2015/EU
- • In the EEA, the required SDS format and content are defined by Article 31 and Annex II of REACH. These have been adapted to align them with the GHS requirements, in particular with the “guidance on the preparation of safety data sheets (SDS)” given in Annex 4 of the GHS as well as to be fully in line with the CLP Regulation (Classification according to the "EU-GHS", Regulation 1272/2008/EC in the latest valid version)
- 02. Creation according to the UNECE GHS regulations in compliance with the respective country SDS regulation
- Classification according to the UN GHS ("Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals")
- 03. Safety Data Sheets for the USA and Canada according to requirements of OSHA HCS and HPR
- Classification according to the US GHS ("Hazard Communication GHS Final Rule")
- Classification according to the Canadian GHS ("Hazardous Products Regulation (HPR)")
What database do we use?
- 01. About 22,000 different substances
- 02. GHS classification for all substances (Globally Harmonized System): taking the various national regulations (for example OSHA HCS, HPR, CLP, UN GHS) into consideration, National GHS classifications for Australia, Malaysia, South Africa and Taiwan
